  • Crack Seal Treatments January 26th - February 10th

    On Thursday, January 26, through Friday, February 10, betweencrack sealing 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., VSS International, Inc., will be performing crack seal work as part of Pima County’s Road Pavement Repair and Preservation Program at the following locations:
    • Mount Lemmon Short Road
    • Soldier Trail from Mount Lemmon Short Road to Fort Lowell Road
    • Fort Lowell Road from Soldier Trail to Houghton Road
    • Swan Road from Sunrise Drive to the Rillito Creek
    The work will consist of setting traffic control and crack seal work. 

    Flaggers will be on site to direct, monitor and control traffic movements through the construction zone. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. Minor delays and lane closures may occur during this work.

    In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change. 

    In Fiscal Year 2022/2023, the Pima County Board of Supervisors and Transportation Department allocated $66 million in road repair and preservation funding for the Road Pavement Repair and Preservation Program.
