This project included under-passes at 22nd Street and Golf Links, allowing continuous river path connections. Additional work completed on the Pantano River Park includes an additional underpass on the east bank further north at the Speedway Bridge.

This project was a joint project with the City of Tucson, and is operated/maintained by the City. It also included a Children’s Memorial Park located at Michael Perry Park. The entire park length is used by Trees for Tucson as a memorial tree park.

This project also used RTA regional funds to increase the connectivity regionally within the urban loop.
