    Kittens and Puppies

Kitten and puppy season is right around the corner and we need your help! If you would like to foster puppies or kittens, learn how here

    Medium and Large Dogs

Our biggest foster need right now is for medium to large dogs many of which are strays and have unknown histories.  To get started fostering adult dogs:
    1. Complete an application.
    2. Take the online orientation.
    3. View our foster plea board and follow the instructions to schedule an appointment!

    Pets with Medical Needs

We often have pets waiting for or recovering from surgery, needing ongoing medical treatments or battling illnesses.  These cats and dogs usually just need somewhere quiet to recover.

To get started fostering medical pets:

    1. Complete an application.
    2. View our current medical pets in need here and follow the instructions to schedule an appointment!

    Cat Fosters

We always need fosters for adult cats that are fearful of new people and situations.  Most of them just need some time to adjust and a little love and attention.  To get started fostering adult cats:
    1. Complete an application
    2. View our foster plea board and follow the instructions to schedule an appointment!

    Intake-to-Foster

Interested in helping a pet stay out of the shelter?

See recent pets who have entered the shelter, as well as pets in the community who are scheduled to come into the shelter. By fostering one of these pets, you help them spend less time in the shelter to minimize the risk of illness and behavior decline.
