Renamed the Canada del Oro Christina-Taylor Green Memorial River Park, this 1.8 mile river park on the east bank of the Canada del Oro (CDO) Wash includes a continuous asphalt multi-use pathway, a decomposed granite pathway between Thornydale and N. Patriot Drive, two pedestrian underpasses (at Ina Road and at Magee Road), a pedestrian bridge, and two parking / staging areas (at Thornydale and at Shannon Road near Magee).
Landscape design focused on the use of low water native plants, preservation of existing native trees and cacti, and seasonal color with native wildflowers. Water harvesting basins capture surface run-off along the pathway. A bird and butterfly garden was added at the Magee/Shannon Staging Area.
The project received an Award of Merit in the small projects category from the Southern Arizona Branch of the American Public Works Association (APWA) in February 2012.
