After-School Program
Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation facilities are not licensed childcare facilities under section 36-882 of A.R.S.
The school-age youth programs are “at will” drop in programs and youth enrolled in the programs may come and go of their own volition.
The after-school program is for children ages 5-12. 5-year-olds must be enrolled in elementary school. Activities include homework help, a reading program, science experiments and projects, group games, sports, board games, cooking, gardening, special events, presentations, and arts and crafts. Summer Program
June-July
Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
This summertime fun program is for children entering 1st grade through entering 6th grade in the 2019/2020 school year. Activities include sports, group games, board games, science projects, a kindness program, gardening, cooking, environmental education, a summer reading program, yoga, dance, drama, video making, amazing presentations, swimming, and a big field trip each month. Breakfasts and lunches will be served daily. This program is free except for entrance fees to the pool and for the field trips. To sign up go to our

Arivaca Centennials Fun Youth Nite
The 3rd Friday of each month
Fun night for youth ages 10-16. Activities include sports, games, crafts, BBQ’s, campfires, laser tag, hide-and-seek, video clips, drama, dance, science experiments, presentations, and some field trips. A great place to hang out with peers in a safe and fun environment. Adult volunteers are needed to help with this program. Call Ellen Dursema at 398-3010 for more information.
Junior Staff in Training Program
This program is designed to help teens experience some real on the job training and to gain important life skills beneficial to joining the work force. This is a volunteer opportunity which involves learning to lead activities, resolve conflict, communicate clearly, be adaptable, be interviewed, and receive feedback from the center coordinator. Community Night
The 1st Sunday of the month at 4:00 p.m.
Join us for fun family friendly activities including family games, drumming and music circles, community networking and special events such as juggling, magic, variety shows and more. Contact Ellen at 398-3010 for activity schedule or visit the community center for more information.
Arivaca Pickleball Club
Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8-11 a.m.
Join in a lively game of pickleball at the community center. This program is provided by the Arivaca Community Center Inc. and is not a Pima County sponsored program.

Friends Over 50 Adventures
Once a month we go somewhere fun and exciting. Our adventures are educational and usually include food and being out in nature. It’s a fun-loving group who all agree that laughter is the best medicine. Free except for admission costs and lunch.
Meaningful Moments Enrichment Classes
A variety of adult crafts workshops are offered throughout the year such as fiber arts, recycled crafts, mosaics, bead work, leather, soap and more. Potluck lunches bring together food and fun.
These 3 week sessions are offered by registration only. Fees may vary.
