We are happy to announce that the Catalina Community Center has restarted limited outdoor activities. Below is a list of the current activities that are being offered. Check back often for additional activities. Advanced registration is required for each activity and space is very limited. Appropriate COVID-19 protection measures will be in place. All activities require a reusable cloth or disposable mask that covers the nose and mouth. Masks may only be removed during specific activities when instructed by staff. Hand sanitizer will be available and we ask that you stay home if you are feeling ill. Programs are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather or under direction by Federal, State or local order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Activities are free unless otherwise posted.

kidsParent Child Fun Time

Who is ready for some fresh air and fun activity time? Toddlers and parents can enjoy some great getaway time outdoors in the beautiful fall sunshine. Catalina Community Center will offer story times, arts and craft projects, treasure hunts, music, and other fun play activities. Participants will remain socially distant throughout activities. Face coverings are required. Parents must remain on site and participate with their child(ren). 10 maximum participants per session. All activity sessions will take place at the Catalina Community Park. Reserve your space by calling 825-9011.

STEM Projects

1st Wednesday of Month
1:00-2:00 p.m.
Calling all young geniuses grades kindergarten – 6th ! If you love to design, create, put things together, and take things apart, the Catalina Community Center is offering some great opportunities to do some hands-on construction projects while enjoying the beautiful fall fresh air. All activities will take place at the Catalina Community Park. Parents will remain on site with their child(ren). Face coverings are required. Maximum of 10 participants per session. Please call 825-9011 to register.

Patio Ping Pong

Fridays
12:30-2:30 p.m.
Catalina Community Center will offer outdoor table tennis singles play Friday afternoons. Participants will be limited to 4 persons per round. Tournament play for those who would like to compete will also be offered. Game play will take place in our outdoor courtyard area. Reservations for play must be made in advance and scheduled by center staff. Please call 825-9011 to reserve a time. Face coverings required.

Adults playing music

Ukulele Song Circle

Fridays
10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Bring your ukulele and/or your favorite instrument and join in some friendly music making. Our socially distant song circle will be held in our outdoor courtyard area. Maximum of 10 participants per session. Face coverings are required. Please call the center at 825-9011 for more information.

Computer Lab

Mondays and Wednesdays
10:00 a.m.-1:45 p.m.
The Catalina Community Center has opened a new computer lab with internet access for public use. Users will be able to utilize computers by reserving a time slot of up to 45 minutes. Reservations must be made in advance and scheduled by center staff. Face coverings are required. Temperatures will be scanned upon entry. Please call 825-9011 for a reservation.
County Line Riders of Catalina: Every second and third Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
