Youth Activities


Lil Rec'ers Program

Tuesday and Thursday, 10:30-11:45 a.m.
This 4 week program is for children ages 3-5 years who are toilet trained and their parent/s. A variety of activities are offered at each site such as arts and crafts, story time, early learning skills, socialization, sports skills, active games, and much more. Parent must accompany the child and remain on premises during the entire program. Additional parent programming may be available at  site. T-Recs in a Jurassic Time
Tuesday, September 14th – Thursday, October 7th
Bring your toddlers to fossil fuel their minds to learn about the pre-historic times and do some dino discoveries.

Holiday Science for Little Hands
Tuesday, October 26th – Thursday, November 18th
Have your little lab techs take part in some holiday science. Your little ones can use their imagination and creativity to invent their own icky experiments while enjoying the festive fun.

Times and dates are subject to change. Please call in advance for more details.

After-school Program

The after-school program is open to children in kindergarten through the fifth grade. The program’s hours will be from the time school is dismissed to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Activities include homework help, reading program, group games, sports, arts and crafts, board and table games, special events, and more. The program is free except for some special events. Registration begins Monday, July 26 at 6 a.m.

Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation facilities are not licensed childcare facilities under section 36-882 of A.R.S. The school-age youth programs are “at will” drop in programs and youth enrolled in the programs may come and go of their own volition.

There are no Adult/Senior Programs available at this time. Please keep checking back.
