After-school Program
Monday-Friday
The after-school program is open to children in kindergarten through the fifth grade. The program’s hours will be from the time school is dismissed to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Activities include homework help, reading program, group games, sports, arts and crafts, board and table games, special events, and more. The program is free except for some special events.

Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation facilities are not licensed childcare facilities under section 36-882 of A.R.S. The school-age youth programs are “at will” drop in programs and youth enrolled in the programs may come and go of their own volition.
Picture Rocks Sixth & Seventh Grade Club (Ages 11-13)

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Ever wanted to learn to how to knit? This program will give you the opportunity to explore your yarn side. No experience necessary, come out and socialize while learning knitting skills. The Classics
The Classics offers group activities, recreational programs and volunteer opportunities to Pima County adults age 50 and older. Our goal is to provide a variety of pleasurable experiences that will enrich and enhance the social, educational, and physical well-being of all who participate in the Classics. The Classics provides social interaction through games, trips, theater presentations, movies and the opportunity to take part in community service projects.
Other Programs
Lending Library
For those avid readers a lending library is available at the center. The library is kept updated with some of the more recent titles as well as many of the older books. The books are donated by some individuals and some from the public library. Books are checked out on the honor system and we ask that borrowed books are returned so that others may also enjoy them. Open during normal business hours.
Senior Congregate Meal Program
Our Senior Congregate meals program is for community members aged 55 and over who meet financial requirements and are seeking socialization. Please contact the community center for more information.

Public Computers
We have computers available for public use. The lab is open Monday-Friday, 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
