    MISSION:  To review and evaluate operations and policies of the Pima Animal Care Center to assure the center keeps pace with the most modern practices and procedures of animal welfare.

    AUTHORIZATION: Pima County Code 6.04.100; Committee Bylaws/Rules/Procedures.

    MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION    : Members include a representative from the Pima County Board of Health, a practicing community veterinarian from the Southern Arizona Veterinary Medical Association, Pima Animal Care Center Partners (one representative of each jurisdiction with an IGA), Friends of Pima Animal Care Center, a registered volunteer of Pima Animal Care Center, one member by each supervisorial district, one member appointed by the County Administrator, and one ex-officio or staff member appointed by the County Administrator.
