Building Code Committee/Board of Appeals

AUTHORIZATION:  A.R.S. §11-862 and Resolution No. 2011-195; Committee Bylaws/Rules/Procedures.

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION: 7 members jointly appointed by Pima County and the City of Tucson, meeting all requirements of A.R.S. §11-862 and representative of the construction industry as  follows:

• an architect duly licensed in the State of Arizona
• a professional structural engineer duly licensed in the State of Arizona
• an Arizona registered design professional with mechanical and plumbing engineering experience or a mechanical contractor with at least ten years’ experience, five of which shall have been in responsible charge of work
• an Arizona registered design professional with electrical engineering experience or an electrical contractor with at least ten years’ experience, five of which shall have been in responsible charge of work
• a general residential contractor
• a general commercial contractor
• a contractor engaged in the electrical, mechanical or plumbing trade
