APPOINTMENT TERM: The term of the 5 members appointed by the Board of Supervisors is at the discretion of the Supervisor. These members may serve for the length of the term the Supervisor is in office but must be reappointed on a yearly basis. Reappointments, in accordance with the bylaws, must be made each year in June. Terms for the remaining 10 positions on the CAAB are four-year appointments. (State regulations specify that seats on the CAAB may remain vacant only three months.)
