Pavement preservation alternatives extend roadway life and provides improved riding and driving conditions for roadways in varied degrees of deterioration.
Several preservation methods were used depending on the condition of the existing pavement including micro-seal, chip seal, mill and fill, and structural overlay. 12.3 centerline miles of roadway were micro-sealed.
This project addressed just a portion of the roadways that are currently in need of preservation work.
