  • Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Office (CRAO)

    Located within the 41,000 square foot Water Campus, CRAO includes a state-of-the-art laboratory complex and office space for the Compliance & Regulatory Affairs and Industrial Wastewater Control. The lab is a state certified facility and can offer analytical processes to other public entities such as universities and local, state and federal government agencies.

    CRAO Laboratory

    The CRAO Laboratory, although not a commercial laboratory, is a state certified facility. The lab can offer analytical processes to other public entities such as universities and local, state and federal government agencies. In addition, it offers testing for the Environmental Response Laboratory Network (ERLN), a national network of laboratories that can be called upon to provide emergency lab analyses in the event of a local, regional, or national disaster.

    Industrial Wastewater Control

    Industrial Wastewater Control (IWC) works with businesses to ensure that harmful substances are kept out of the sewer system. View information about the program and permit applications.

    Permitting & Water Management

    The Permitting, Water Quality and Data Management sections work collaboratively with one another as they are an important link between the monitoring requirements, efforts and the informed data analysis for assessing & reporting the quality of the water. Permitting is responsible for implementing all federal and state wastewater laws and regulations as Water Quality provides the monitoring efforts to meet the requirements.
