RWRD New Public Sewer Construction Permit
To apply for a new Public Sewer Construction permit, the following items must be submitted to RWRDPermitting@pima.gov:
- Public Sewer Construction Permit Application
- PDF copy of approved plans
- Evidence of approved and recorded easements (to be included in construction drawings)
- Construction Authorization (ADEQ or Delegate)
- Valid license from the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (A, A-12, KA or CR-80)
- Certificate of Insurance
- Recorded Final Plat (if applicable)
- Sewer Service Agreement signed (if applicable)
- Itemized bid sheet signed by contractor
Fees will be invoiced during the review process. Payment is required prior to permit approval.
RWRD Small Activity Construction Permit
A Small Activity Construction Permit is required when a private sewer line is connecting to the following public sewer features:
- A manhole
- A sewer pipe greater than 12 inches in diameter
- A sewer pipe 12 inches or less in the Towns of Marana, Oro Valley, and Sahuarita
- Any sewer line within Tribal Land or State/Federal Government property
OR
When the connection to the public sewer has not gone through a jurisdiction's building or site development review process.
To apply for a Small Activity Construction Permit, the following items must be submitted to RWRDPermitting@pima.gov:
Fees will be invoiced during the review process. Payment is required prior to permit approval.
