The Santa Cruz River Park: Grant Road to El Camino del Cerro segment has been identified as part of the core Loop trail system. Further development of the system provided connectivity along the east and west banks of the Santa Cruz River. As part of this project, multi-use pathways, 6 pedestrian bridges and other drainage improvements were installed along the nearly 5- mile segment. Connection to existing park facilities, adjacent roadways and residential areas were made where feasible.
