The Menlo Park improvement project includes a double basketball court, two kickball backstops, a shaded playground and two tetherball courts, a new lighted soccer field, a parking lot extension and compliant connections.

The project was delivered by the City of Tucson Parks and Recreation Department in cooperation with the adjacent Menlo Park Elementary school. The improvements have provided a safe play area near the elementary school and have provided a full size lighted field. The shared use park will be used during school hours and the additional lighting will extend park usage well into the evening for the local community. The soccer fields and ancillary recreation installation were completed October 2011. The sports lighting project was completed in September 2012.
